In our Land 🍃

In #Gaza

My friend,
If you are able to drink a cold cup of water in a very hot day,

If you are able to use your fridge to preserve food at a cold temperature, (not using it as a closet)

If you are able to buy fruits, vegetables and meat and keep them in your fridge, without finding them spoiled,

If you are able to work on your laptop without thinking of any electricity problem,

If you are able to wash your laundry when you want to,

If you are able to choose the time of when to iron your shirt,

If you are able to sleep, without having to wake up in the middle of the night to do any of the above, then say alhamdulliah, you are living a mastestic human life!!!

In #Gaza, as we are only having 3 hours electricity and 24 hours cut, I would like to remind you to remember the favors of Allah upon you- those that we won’t ever enumerate.

Ya Allah we compalin to You what has befallen us,

Ya Allah adversity has touched us and we are calling upon You to change the situation to the bettter.

To Bilal.. (2)

Ya Bilal,

Remember what Allah said in Surah Ta-Ha, “And whoever turns away from My remembrance –  indeed, he will have a depressed life, and We will gather him on the Day of Resurrection blind.”

To turn away from Allah is to ignore what He has ordered and to do what the self desires. Is to delay what He loves you to do, i.e. to pray on time, to give those who are in need before they become needy by asking about them, to be grateful for what He has given you and not to remember Him when you are only in pain.

Ya Bilal, turning away from Allah means that your life will be full of difficulties and you won’t be able to handle them. It means that you won’t be given the ability and power to overcome the obstacles in life.

To turn away from Allah means to choose to drown by your own hands and to prevent your self from all the good in life.

Allah is the Light of the heavens and the earth ya Bilal. Don’t choose darkness. Darkness means falling down. It means blindness.
Ya Bilal, “…be not like those who forgot Allah, so He made them forget themselves.”

To Bilal…

Ya Bilal,

  • You won’t love until you are loved by Him. And your love won’t ever precede His.

“… people He will love and who will love Him”
(Quran, al-Maidah: 54).

And the condition of gaining His love, is to be loyal.

  • And you won’t repent until He, first, forgives you.

“Then He turned to them so they could repent.”
(Quran,  at-Tawbah: 118).

And the condition of repentance is to regret and to leave what you used to do.

  • You won’t come back to Allah until you are accepted by Allah.

“Return to your Lord”
(Quran, al-Balad: 28).

And the condition of coming back is the sincerity in committing to His path.

  • And He won’t inspire you to make Istighfaar until He wants to forgive you.

“Indeed, He is ever a Perpetual Forgiver.”
(Quran, Noah: 10)

And the condition of making Istighfaar is to interdict the self from doing the bad.

Ya Bilal, these are my advices to you, consider them so that you may find salvation. May Allah keep us firm on the path of righteousness; and make piety our provision for the journey. Ameen.
