“Allah is with the patient”

AsSalaam alikum,

“O you who have believed, seek help through patience and prayer.
Indeed, Allah is with the patient.” (Qur’an, 2:153)

Thinking deeply of this verse, I think the solution that is put for those who are suffering is so hard. Allah is telling them to seek help through 1. patience and 2. prayer!

Allah in the same chapter says:

“And we surely test you with something of fear and hunger and a loss of wealth and lives and fruits, but give good tidings to the patient,” (Qur’an, 2:155)

Who are the patient? how did Allah the Almighty descibe them? He says, they are the patient,

“Who, when disaster strikes them, say, “Indeed we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we will return.” (Qur’an, 2:156)

When you feel depressed, just recite, “There is no deity excepy You; exalted are You. Indeed, I have been of the wrongdoers.” as the man of the fish (Prophet Yunus- peace be upon him) said while he was in the belly of the whale!

When you feel that you are conned by people around you, recite, “I entrust my affar to Allah. Indeed, Allah is Seeing of [His] servants.”

When you are afraid of something, recite, “Sufficient for us is Allah, and [He is] the best Disposer of affairs.”

Ya allah make us among those who have beauiful paitence. Amen.

So flee!

When you feel that the earth closed in on you inspite of its vastness and your soul confined you, know that there is no refuge from Allah except in Allah!

Flee from people who wont help you practice your religion.
Flee from your bank that uses interest in their transactions.
Flee from relatives who will encourage you do what doesn’t please Allah.
Flee from your husband to obey Allah.
Flee from the country that won’t be a suitable environment for you or your family to practice your deen.

Flee from everything that might ruin your faith! It’s one life that we are living, so let it be as Allah ordered.

It just needs a decision to make your favourite moment in your life happen, but before,

You have to decide to flee, trusting that Allah will provide a way for you. You have to flee even if you still don’t know how it will happen, and say:

” No! Indeed, with me is my Lord; He will guide me.”
Quran as-Shu’araa 62

My new Project: Tajweed al-Manal

Like today last Ramadan (11th Ramadan) I shared with you the news of my memorization of the Qur’an (I can’t imagine it has been one year now 😊)
Today I’ve got amazing news to share with you as well! I’m starting my new project which is pretty special, that is called, “Tajweed al-Manal” it’s also Quran related, alhamdulliah.

Basically through it, I’ll be teaching the science of Tajweed (how to recite Quran properly- as Prophet Mohammed- peace be upon him- did) online. I’ll be teaching it using the English language and it’ll be only for sisters, at least at this stage of my project, so my apologies to my brothers out there.. 😉

I am convinced that our ummah will be able to make a change in this world only when the Muslim generations are students of the Qur’an even before being engineers, businessmen and women, teachers, etc.

I want, through my project, to empower and inspire our young Muslim generation to be part of the change in the world by sticking to their guide, the Qur’an, by reciting it, pondering over the meanings of it’s verses and applying it in their everyday lives!

It’s going to be an incredible journey, inshaAllah!

To Bilal (3) – The hidden mercy!

Ya Bilal,

Know that:

“Allah may purify the believers [through trials] and destroy the disbelievers.”
Quran 3: 141

And purification is to cleanse ones self from sins that we do in public and in secret.

Know that Allah wants to purify us so that He knows who are the true believers and who are the hypocrites.

“Or do you think that you will enter Paradise while Allah has not yet made evident those of you who fight in His cause and made evident those who are steadfast?”
Quran 3: 142

You will go through obstacles and tribulations and you will be tested with fear, health, life and family members, as in that what you are going through is a great trial from your Lord.

So be patient.

Ya Bilal, Allah said,

“[He] who created death and life to test you[as to] which of you is best in deed.”
Quran 67: 2

This worldly life is only a temporary enjoyment, and that the Hereafter is the home of permanent settlement.

Ya Bilal, as long as you are firm on the deen, you are in a great blessing, so thank Allah for it. And remember the hidden mercy in every trial you go through.
